Brainraves Dr.cortex has yet again been busy ‘in the lab’ making all sorts of crazy potions and Bass Heavy coagulations!

Unfortunately one of the vials fell during emergency renovations and spread an unknown substance amongst the public!

The 22 events crew will be scrambling together combining fire music and laughter once again to fight off the infection!

There are rumours of Mushroom Zombies emerging from the cellar , it seems the vial contained a rare zombie mycelium Dna strand that has manifested with the power of the full moon!

Taking over upstairs we have a long-awaited crossover between NN based drum & bass label In The Lab Recordings and the midlands based DNB label BrainRave. 

BrainRave Music being in its second year of operations have been pushing the modern Neurofunk sound combed with classic tech step vibes and speaker rumbling minimal dnb, boasting releases from Audio, Screamarts, Dunk, HighThere, Nemy, Sola, NC-17 to name only a few. 

Whilst In the lab has had a hectic few years opening for Rampage in Antwerp, Headlining Motion Free Rave and then being selected for Hospital Records Business Mentee scheme deservedly after this they got a nomination as Best Breakthrough Record label of the year!

That coupled with numerous heavy hitter Record releases this local label is doing the business for DNB in the area!

These two Local labels are sure to put on the heaviest night of Fast paced heart racing music for you all to Enjoy!

Whether you are into your Ska n rock or Love your Dnb and Electro we have got you covered! 

Top of the Bill will be the legendary Ray Keith! Along side the absolute don that is Mc Juiceman! These two between them have played more shows than I can even comprehend! We are so blessed to have them headline and we are pulling out all the stops to put on a great show for you all to enjoy!

During the day we have an electric mix of local talent twined with hand picked artist ive selected from my travels over the last festival season!

Creating those kinetic vibrations that not only bless those ear drums but hum your soul! 

Headlining the Core stage we have Northampton’s Ska Soldier and his rejects Karl Phillips! High energy tones mixed with ska sass and conviction all cooked up and served to you lovely people through a banging EAW sound system!

If you love your live music the Core stage has you covered! Boasting a selection of live music genres including Rock, metal, jazz and irish ska destined to get them tail feathers shaking!

This event takes us to a new bigger venue called ‘The Charles Bradlaugh’
The Historic venue allows the ‘Two towers’ stage to grow in the outdoor area with full decor, pyro and Lighting visuals whilst giving birth to the ‘Core’ Stage where the heart of ‘State of it’ gets perpetuated!

This year we are working with Mind in Northampton to raise funds and spread awareness on mental health across the area!

A portion of the profits from the event will go to Mind in Northampton. This will help them to continue with their amazing work within our local community, ensuring that we work towards better mental health for everyone.

We are super excited with this announcement and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Headlining this year we have the one and only Beans on Toast! 

Essex born folk songwriter ‘Beans on Toast’ is an extremely unique performer. Twisting an age-old genre with a D.I.Y. approach and contemporary concerns has earned him the title of a cult figure who tells it like it is. A festival favourite (he’s played Glastonbury every year since 2005) and a prolific writer and performer. He’s written and recorded 16 albums and he’s played every bar, club, venue, pub, festival, party and honky-tonk you can think of.

We know it will be an amazing performance and can’t wait to see you all on 27th of JULY!

At 22 Events promo day festival we held a competition!

Everybody who liked and shared our event page was in the chance to win some exclusive gifts and prizes!

We blew up a bunch of balloons with peoples names inside and stashed them about the event and when they got popped we found our winners!
